Mr. Sam was the cutest monster ever last night! He was so good. He kept his costume on for over an hour…hood up and all!

Aww, sweet little Sam. Seven months old already. I can’t believe how much you’ve grown. Just look at those baby blues.

I think it’s safe to say that Ken is pretty smitten with Mr. Sam.

The orchard also has a pumpkin patch…and again, Sam was more interested in the weeds!

I can’t believe my little guy has been here a month and I haven’t shared any photos of him! He arrived on March 18 at 9:15 p.m. and he couldn’t be more perfect.

Here is my best attempt at a portrait while lying in my hospital bed with little Sam between my feet.

He’s getting so big already. I can’t believe he is a month old. He’s changed so much!

This one just melts my heart. Sam with Daddy. My two favorite guys.

Yep! We’re having a baby! Our first little rug rat is due in the middle of March.

What does that mean for my clients? Well, for a little while after the baby comes, it might be a little harder to book a session. With portrait sessions, this shouldn’t be a huge issue. I will not be taking wedding booking until later in the year because of the larger time commitment required.

Yeah, I’m a dork. I love going to the Indy 500 parade every year. I’m lucky that my husband doesn’t seem to mind being dragged along. We bought tickets this year and sat on Monument Circle in front of the IPL building. Great seats!

I’ll start with our neighbor, a freaking adorable little doggie! I’m not sure what he was…some sort of terrier mix, perhaps? He and his family traveled all of the way from Texas to see the Indy 500.

The first band up was the Purdue All-American Marching Band and their baton corp. Come on! Boiler UP!

I don’t know which high school band this guy was from, but man was he working hard! It was hot!

And, as always, some celebrity sightings… Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts was the pace car driver this year.

An Indy 500 staple, Carol Brady herself, Florence Henderson.

And now, what it is all about…race car drivers!

Multiple Indy 500 winner and (didn’t he win???) Dancing with the Stars winner Helio Castroneves.

The most famous woman in racing…Danica Patrick.

2010 Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti and his beautiful wife, actress Ashely Judd (yeah, this is for my husband!).

I would like to congratulate my awesome husband, Ken, on finishing his sixth 500 Festival Mini-Marathon! I’m so proud of him! He hated the photo I took of him afterward, so I’ll just post this one:

I would also like to congratulate my good friend, Holly, for finishing her very first!

While I waited on Ken and Holly to finish up, I roamed around Military Park to kill time. While I was hanging out, I met this little dude…I can’t remember his name, but he was SO cute!
